Why choose a light blue
It is an outdoor colour. In natural light, light blues keep their brightness where darker shades absorb it and weigh the silhouette down in photographs. For an outdoor ceremony or a daytime reception, it is a better choice than black or burgundy.
Another advantage for a wedding guest: light blue is never mistaken for the bride's white, unlike beige or very pale pink.
Our cuts in blue
Flowing chiffon, the fabric best suited to this range of shades: it lets the light through and follows movement. Available in sizes 36 to 44, up to 48 on some styles.
What to wear it with
Silver jewellery or pearls, staying within the same cool family. Nude heels so as not to break the lightness of the outfit. Gold works too, but warms the look noticeably — better kept for late afternoon.

Light blue is a daytime, outdoor colour. For an evening reception, a gala or a formal ceremony, our navy blue dresses will suit better — and the range there is much wider.
