La Petite Robe selects evening dresses for weddings, galas and ceremonies. Every model is chosen for its cut, its fabric and its ability to stay comfortable through a whole evening. Our prices range from €25 to €325, from the simplest model to the hand-embroidered piece.
Choosing your dress for the occasion
As a wedding guest, favour pastel tones or deep colours such as burgundy or green, and avoid white, which is reserved for the bride. For a gala or a formal evening, a long dress in satin or velvet carries more presence. For a daytime ceremony, a fluid fabric such as chiffon or crepe stays more comfortable.
Choosing your fabric
Fabric shapes the look as much as the comfort. Satin catches the light and structures the silhouette: it is the fabric of mermaid cuts and dresses with a train. Chiffon stays light and airy, ideal for outdoor ceremonies and summer weddings. Crepe has a matte, weighted drape that smooths the line — valued by anyone who finds satin too revealing. Lace brings detail and craft, often layered. Velvet remains reserved for autumn and winter events.

Our dresses are available from XS to XXL. For a straight figure, a structured, straight cut lengthens the line. For an hourglass figure, a defined waist highlights the curve. The full size guide is on every product page.

Caring for your evening dress
Dry cleaning remains the safest option for fabrics such as satin, silk and lace, as it preserves the drape and the depth of the colour. Between wears, hang the dress on a wide hanger rather than a thin one, so the shoulders don't mark. If a crease appears after transport, a light burst of steam from a distance is usually enough — avoid pressing the iron directly onto the fabric, especially over embroidery or sequins.
